Dr. Adil Haider, a globally recognized surgeon-scientist and founder of Boston Health AI, has been appointed as the inaugural Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world’s first engineering-based medical school. Under his leadership, research funding quadrupled, the college achieved top-100 global ranking status, and it earned multiple international accreditations, including ACGME-International and AACME. He has authored over 450 peer-reviewed publications and secured more than USD 200 million in research funding, mentoring over 150 trainees worldwide. In 2024, he founded Boston Health AI, which operates in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan, focusing on ethical, scalable AI solutions in healthcare, including Hami, the world’s first AI-clinical intelligence companion.
