Eleven Pakistani organisations have secured recognition across the ASOCIO Digital and AI Awards 2026, competing alongside technology companies from twenty four economies across the Asia Oceania region. The Pakistan Software Houses Association described the outcome as a significant achievement for the country’s technology ecosystem, noting that the breadth of categories won reflects growing international recognition of Pakistani capabilities across multiple areas of digital transformation and artificial intelligence application.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board received the Digital Government Award for its work on digital development, innovation and the promotion of digital governance within the province. Provincial Information Minister Shafi Jan said the recognition reflects the success of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s digital policy implementation and its effective use of technology to improve public service delivery, adding that the award will be formally presented during the ASOCIO Summit scheduled for October 5 to 7 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The minister noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has accumulated a series of national and international awards in the information technology sector in recent years, including previous recognition through the P@SHA ICT Awards and the World Summit on the Information Society Awards.

Several private sector companies were also recognised across specialised categories reflecting different applications of artificial intelligence. REMIRE received the Talent Development Award, while Symmetry Group was recognised with the Global Business Service Award. SECUREBEANS won the AI in Cybersecurity Award, and PlanetBeyond received the AI for Public Good Award. CARE was recognised with the AI in Education Award, while DxVision.AI secured the AI in Healthcare Award, reflecting the growing role artificial intelligence is playing across sectors ranging from public administration to specialised commercial applications within Pakistan’s technology industry.

Additional recognitions extended into more specialised and emerging areas of artificial intelligence application. Sybrid Private Limited, a Lakson Group company, won the AI in Smart Agriculture Award, while Unikrew Solutions received the AI in Financial Services Award. Geekinn was recognised with the AI in Workforce and Future Skills Award, and Smart IS secured the AI in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Award. The spread of categories across sectors including agriculture, finance, workforce development and manufacturing points to a broadening base of artificial intelligence adoption within Pakistan’s private sector, extending well beyond the software export services that have traditionally defined the country’s technology industry.

The recognition adds to a broader pattern of growing international visibility for Pakistan’s technology sector through ASOCIO related platforms over the past year, following Pakistan’s selection to host the ASOCIO Digital Summit in 2026 and the country’s earlier success in securing seven ASOCIO ICT Awards in 2025. The Pakistan Software Houses Association congratulated all recipients on their achievement, describing the wins as reflective of the growing talent and innovation emerging from Pakistan’s broader technology ecosystem and its expanding contribution to the global technology industry.
