Pakistani technology organisations received awards in 11 categories at the ASOCIO Digital and AI Awards 2026, held in Jakarta on October 6, according to the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES (P@SHA). The ceremony took place during the ASOCIO Digital and AI Summit Indonesia 2026 and brought together technology organisations from across the Asia-Oceania region. The winners were first announced earlier, and CW Pakistan reported the recognition on August 18, 2026, in its story available here. The Jakarta ceremony marked the formal presentation of those awards, roughly seven weeks after the winners became known.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board received the Digital Government Award, Remire won the Talent Development Award, and Symmetry Group Limited secured the Global Business Service Award. The remaining awards were spread across applications of artificial intelligence. SecureBeans won the AI in Cybersecurity Award, Planetbeyond Pakistan received the AI for Public Good Award, and CARE was recognised for AI in Education. DxVision AI won the AI in Healthcare Award, while Sybrid received the AI in Smart Agriculture Award. Unikrew Solutions won the AI in Financial Services Award, Geekinn Private Limited was recognised for AI in Workforce and Future Skills, and SMART IS (Private) Limited received the AI in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Award. When the winners were first announced, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial information minister Shafi Jan said the Digital Government Award reflected the success of the province’s digital policy and its use of technology to improve public service delivery.
A P@SHA delegation attended the event, made up of Chairman Dr Shoab A. Khan, Muhammad Zohaib Khan, who is Vice Chairman of ASOCIO and a member of the P@SHA Central Executive Committee, and Zain Tariq from P@SHA’s special projects team. Dr Khan said the awards reflected the innovation and capabilities of Pakistan’s technology sector, adding that recognition across 11 categories showed the range of digital transformation and applied AI work being carried out by Pakistani organisations. The delegation’s presence in Jakarta also included meetings on the sidelines of the summit, which CW Pakistan has covered separately, including P@SHA leadership meeting Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Tourism, as well as the association’s wider participation in the summit programme.
The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation is a federation of information and communications technology industry associations representing economies across Asia and Oceania. Its annual awards recognise digital innovation, technological advancement and IT adoption across the region. The winners span public sector digital governance, talent development, business services and a wide mix of AI uses, from cybersecurity and education to healthcare, agriculture, finance, workforce skills and manufacturing. The spread of categories shows AI work from Pakistani organisations reaching well beyond software exports into sectors that touch daily life and industry, and it follows the seven ASOCIO ICT Awards Pakistan secured in 2025, adding to the growing regional visibility the country has gained through ASOCIO platforms over the past year.
