Three Pakistani companies, Murree Brewery, Systems Limited and Sazgar Engineering Works, have been included in Forbes Asia’s 2026 list of 200 publicly listed companies selected from the Asia Pacific region. The Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion list recognizes companies with annual sales between $10 million and $1 billion, with the selected businesses assessed on their financial performance. The inclusion of the three Pakistani companies highlights their presence among small and mid sized publicly listed businesses operating across the wider Asia Pacific market.

Murree Brewery reported annual sales of $102 million, while its market capitalization was valued at $92 million for the list. The company, which was established in 1861 as a public limited company, has expanded its operations over the years and currently operates across a diversified range of products. Its inclusion places the long established Pakistani company among the businesses recognized by Forbes Asia for their financial performance within the specified revenue range. Murree Brewery has previously appeared on Forbes related rankings, making its latest inclusion another recognition of its position among publicly listed companies in the region.

Systems Limited, one of Pakistan’s major technology companies, was also featured on the 2026 list. The company recorded sales of $286 million, while its market capitalization stood at approximately $759 million. Systems Limited provides software development, business process outsourcing and digital technology services to customers in international markets. Its operations extend across regions including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union and Middle East. The company’s inclusion is particularly notable for Pakistan’s technology sector, as it represents a local information technology company among the publicly listed businesses recognized in Forbes Asia’s latest selection. The recognition also marks Systems Limited’s sixth appearance on the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion list.

Sazgar Engineering Works was the third Pakistani company included in the ranking, reporting sales of $389 million and net income of $58 million. Founded as a private limited company in 1991 and converted into a public limited company in 1994, Sazgar operates in the automotive sector and manufactures automobiles, automotive parts and accessories, along with household electronic appliances. The company has manufacturing facilities in Lahore and has expanded its automotive operations in recent years. The inclusion of Murree Brewery, Systems Limited and Sazgar Engineering Works in the Forbes Asia 2026 selection provides recognition across Pakistan’s beverage, technology and automotive sectors. The companies were selected from 200 publicly listed businesses across the Asia Pacific region, with the ranking highlighting businesses that demonstrated financial performance despite geopolitical uncertainty and volatile energy markets.
