Pakistani tech company Haprow, a finalist in the prestigious Pakistan IT-enabled Export Startups Competition (PIXS), has unveiled a significant partnership with Mr. Tarek Marabe at the HEMS Exhibition. This partnership marks Haprow’s official entry into the West African market, signaling a bold new chapter for the company and its groundbreaking robotics solutions.

On April 19, 2025, Haprow and Mr. Marabe signed a distribution agreement that sets the stage for the company’s innovative robotics solutions to reach new audiences in West Africa. The partnership is a clear indication of Haprow’s commitment to expanding its reach beyond Pakistan’s borders and delivering impactful technological solutions to underserved regions. The collaboration focuses on two key products that are already transforming sectors such as education and healthcare: the TimTim Robot and the UV-C Sterilization Robot. The TimTim Robot, an AI-powered socially assistive robot, has been designed to aid children with autism, offering them personalized, interactive learning experiences that are essential in special needs education. These robots provide an innovative, non-intrusive way to support autistic children in a classroom setting, allowing them to engage more effectively with their lessons while promoting social interaction and developmental skills. With the initial order placed by Mr. Marabe, the TimTim Robot is set to make a meaningful impact in West African educational institutions, particularly in schools catering to children with special needs.

The second product, the UV-C Sterilization Robot, addresses a critical issue in public health. Powered by UV-C light, the robot is designed to disinfect hospitals, schools, and public spaces, helping to reduce the spread of infections and promote safer environments. This smart solution has gained significant attention for its potential to enhance hygiene standards, especially in high-traffic areas where cleanliness is paramount. By bringing this technology to West Africa, Haprow aims to contribute to the region’s public health infrastructure and support efforts to maintain healthier, safer spaces for its communities. While the commercial success of these products is undoubtedly important, the true essence of this partnership lies in its potential for meaningful, long-term impact. Haprow is working closely with special needs educators in West Africa to adapt the TimTim Robot for local communities. This collaborative effort ensures that the technology is not only accessible but also culturally and contextually relevant, delivering real value to the region’s education sector. By understanding and addressing the specific needs of local communities, Haprow aims to create an inclusive learning environment that empowers children with autism to reach their full potential.

This partnership is a testament to the increasing global demand for innovative, AI-powered solutions that can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The agreement with Mr. Marabe also reflects the growing recognition of Pakistani technology and innovation on the global stage. By taking Made-in-Pakistan products to international markets, Haprow is not only opening new export pathways for local technology but is also positioning Pakistan as a key player in the global tech industry. The unveiling of this partnership is also a significant achievement for PIXS—the Pakistan IT-enabled Export Startups Competition. Launched by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in February 2025, PIXS aims to accelerate the growth of Pakistan’s IT-enabled export startups by providing them with the exposure, acceleration, and global linkages necessary for international expansion. Haprow’s success in securing this distribution agreement is a testament to the competition’s ability to nurture startups and help them scale globally.

The PIXS competition was designed to fast-track the development of Pakistan’s tech startups, providing them with resources, mentorship, and access to a broader international market. By facilitating collaborations with international partners like Mr. Tarek Marabe, PIXS is enabling Pakistani startups to expand their reach and showcase their products and services on the global stage. Haprow’s success is a clear reflection of the competition’s vision to empower startups and support Pakistan’s growing technology export sector. The partnership between Haprow and Mr. Marabe also opens doors for further collaboration in West Africa, where there is significant potential for AI-powered solutions to address challenges in education, healthcare, and public health. As Haprow expands its footprint in the region, it will continue to work closely with local stakeholders to ensure that its products are adapted to meet the unique needs of West African communities.

From Karachi to West Africa, Haprow’s journey is a shining example of how innovation and international collaboration can create lasting impact. By leveraging advanced robotics technology, Haprow is not only transforming industries but is also improving the lives of people around the world. This partnership is a major step in the company’s global expansion strategy and serves as an inspiration for other Pakistani startups looking to make their mark on the global stage. As Haprow continues to scale its operations internationally, the company’s success will undoubtedly serve as a beacon for other tech startups in Pakistan, encouraging them to embrace innovation and explore new markets. The future looks bright for Haprow as it leads the charge in exporting Made-in-Pakistan technology, proving that with the right partnerships, local innovation can make a global impact.
