The US-Pakistan Trade Organization’s Pakistan Chapter held an Executive Committee meeting at Islamabad Club, bringing together leaders and professionals focused on strengthening trade, investment, innovation, and strategic business collaboration between Pakistan and the United States. The meeting was chaired by Rashid Humayun, Chairman of the organization, with Naeem Siddiqi, Chairman of the Advisory Board, also in attendance alongside fellow Executive Committee members.

Discussions at the meeting centered on practical initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and investment, strengthening institutional governance, and supporting small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs. Participants also discussed promoting B2B networking and international market access, along with developing a verified business directory and digital platform for the organization’s members, an initiative intended to give Pakistani and American businesses a more structured way to connect.

The meeting additionally addressed expanding collaboration across a range of sectors, including information technology, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, textiles, tourism, and renewable energy, reflecting the organization’s broad mandate covering multiple areas of the Pakistan-US economic relationship rather than a single industry focus.

The meeting adds to a series of engagements between Pakistani and American trade and business organizations aimed at deepening economic ties between the two countries. With plans for a verified digital business directory and continued focus on SME support, USPAKTO’s Pakistan Chapter is positioning itself as an ongoing platform for facilitating business connections and market access opportunities between Pakistani and American companies across multiple sectors of the economy.
