Tech Valley hosted a Google for Education Global Delegation on a five-day visit to Pakistan, traveling across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The visit combined high level discussions with a series of on-ground activities in each city, reflecting Tech Valley’s continued role as Google for Education’s local implementation partner in the country.
In Karachi, the delegation delivered hands on AI training for Sindh’s provincial leadership and launched one of the leading Gemini Corners in the province at NED University of Engineering and Technology, giving students and faculty a dedicated space to engage with Google’s AI tools. In Lahore, the visit focused on scaling AI integration across school curricula and launching a new partnership with Kinnaird College, extending Tech Valley’s education technology work into a new academic institution.
In Islamabad, the delegation brought together federal government officials and ecosystem partners to discuss a unified national technology roadmap, positioning the capital leg of the visit as a venue for higher level policy coordination compared to the more hands on training sessions held in Karachi and Lahore. Tech Valley described its role in facilitating the visit as acting as a bridge bringing global innovation into Pakistan’s local education and government ecosystem.
The delegation visit adds to a series of Google for Education initiatives Tech Valley has facilitated across Pakistan in recent months, including its role in establishing Punjab’s first Google for Education Center of Excellence in Lahore and its recent partnership with the Momina & Duraid Foundation to bring AI tools into nine schools in Karachi. The five-day visit reflects continued momentum behind Google’s education technology push in Pakistan, spanning provincial government engagement, university partnerships, and school level AI integration across multiple cities.
