PASHA has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kinverg aimed at promoting cybersecurity initiatives and building closer collaboration within Pakistan’s technology sector. The agreement was signed by PASHA Secretary General Ali Hasani and Kinverg Assistant Vice President for Cybersecurity Consulting Hafsa K., establishing a partnership focused on helping organizations navigate evolving digital security challenges.

Under the agreement, both organizations will work together on initiatives aimed at improving cybersecurity practices across Pakistan’s technology industry, with a particular focus on supporting local businesses as they contend with an increasingly complex digital threat environment. The collaboration is intended to bring Kinverg’s cybersecurity consulting expertise into closer alignment with PASHA’s role in representing and supporting technology companies operating across the country.

The partnership reflects a growing emphasis among Pakistani technology sector organizations on cybersecurity as a core operational priority rather than a secondary concern, as digital threats continue to evolve alongside the country’s expanding technology and digital services industries. By formalizing this collaboration through an MoU, PASHA and Kinverg are positioning themselves to jointly address gaps in cybersecurity awareness, capability and resilience among organizations operating within Pakistan’s broader technology ecosystem.

The agreement adds to a series of partnerships PASHA has pursued in recent years aimed at strengthening different aspects of Pakistan’s technology industry, from workforce development to digital security. As cybersecurity threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication globally, collaborations of this kind are increasingly seen as necessary for helping local technology companies build more resilient digital infrastructure and better prepare for emerging security risks within the sector.
