The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission has announced a paid internship program for Pakistani graduates at its Lahore office, offering a monthly stipend of up to Rs 50,000. The internship will last six months, with the possibility of an extension depending on project requirements, and applications are open until August 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old and hold a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in a relevant discipline. SUPARCO is accepting applications across several technical fields, including embedded systems design, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, software development, and GNU/Linux based development, giving prospective interns a range of specializations to choose from depending on their academic background.

Graduates eligible to apply come from disciplines including electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering, information security, computer science, software engineering, and computer engineering. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in a field related, MCQ based written test, followed by an interview, with both stages conducted only in Lahore and no travel or accommodation allowance provided.

SUPARCO said outstanding interns may be offered employment after completing the internship, subject to project availability and organizational requirements, positioning the program as a potential entry point into longer term roles at the space agency. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the Smart Careers portal, and applicants have been advised to provide an active mobile number and email address, since all communication regarding tests and interviews will be sent via SMS or email.
