Islamabad.ai has announced a free online training programme on artificial intelligence and automation for project managers, aimed at 100 women who want to learn how these tools can be used to plan, track, and deliver projects with greater efficiency. The sessions will be held on Zoom from November 6 to 12, 2026, each evening from 8:00 PM to 8:45 PM Pakistan Standard Time, a schedule designed so that working professionals and students can attend without disrupting their daytime commitments. The training carries no fee, and participation is arranged through a dedicated WhatsApp group where updates and joining details are shared with registered attendees.

The programme will be led by trainer Ummutullah Sundas Khan and is built around the practical use of artificial intelligence and automation in project management. Participants will be introduced to the essential concepts behind these technologies and then shown how they apply to everyday project work, including ways to improve productivity, reduce repetitive manual tasks, and streamline workflows across teams. The organisers have said the aim is to give project managers enough working knowledge to explore artificial intelligence powered approaches in their own projects with confidence, rather than treating the technology as something reserved for engineers and data scientists. For managers who coordinate deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders, tools that automate scheduling, reporting, and routine communication can free up time for decisions that need human judgement.

The training forms part of 100 Women Learning AI, an initiative run by the Women and Girls wing of Islamabad.ai, which offers women and girls practical artificial intelligence skills, learning opportunities, and the confidence to take part in an economy increasingly shaped by the technology. Women remain underrepresented in Pakistan’s technology workforce, and short, focused and free programmes delivered online lower the barriers of cost, travel, and time that often keep women from taking up professional development courses. A cohort limited to 100 participants also allows the trainer to keep sessions interactive instead of turning them into large lectures.

Women who wish to take part can join the programme’s WhatsApp group , or by scanning the QR code printed on the official poster. Project management is one of the professions where artificial intelligence is already changing daily routines, from drafting status reports to forecasting delays, and Pakistan’s growing technology and services sector needs managers who understand both the possibilities and the limits of these tools. A free seven day course on the subject gives interested women a practical entry point, and the organisers have indicated that further sessions under the same initiative will follow for other professions and skill levels.
