Sigi Technologies has joined the CM IT Internship Program 2026, a Government of Punjab initiative coordinated through Punjab Information Technology Board aimed at giving fresh graduates practical industry experience in the technology sector. The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Zeeshan Nawaz, met with Muhammad Haroon, Operation Coordinator at PITB, and Naveed Ali, Regional Head of Partnerships and Collaborations for the Digital Skills Wing at PITB, to discuss the company’s role in the program.

The CM IT Internship Program is designed to place fresh graduates within participating technology companies, giving them hands on exposure to real world industry work as part of the province’s broader effort to build up its IT talent pipeline. Sigi Technologies described its participation as an opportunity to help equip graduates with practical experience while contributing to the growth of Pakistan’s technology workforce.

The initiative adds to a series of internship and skills development programs Punjab Information Technology Board has run in collaboration with private sector companies, reflecting continued coordination between provincial government bodies and technology firms to expand structured pathways from graduation into employment. By partnering directly with companies like Sigi Technologies, PITB aims to give interns exposure to live projects and workplace environments that complement the more classroom based training offered through other government skills programs.

Sigi Technologies said it looks forward to supporting the program and nurturing the next generation of technology professionals in Pakistan. The partnership reflects a broader trend among Pakistani IT companies of engaging directly with provincial government internship initiatives as a way to build early relationships with emerging talent while contributing to the country’s wider digital skills development agenda.
