HBL PASHA Konnect in Oslo hosted a special Pakistan Night that brought together key figures from Pakistan and Norway’s technology sectors to discuss collaborative growth and innovation. The event, held on October 21 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, served as a platform to deepen ties between the two nations’ tech ecosystems while highlighting Pakistan’s growing role as an emerging hub for digital talent and entrepreneurship.

Distinguished speakers included Usman A. Mushtaq, Secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Health; Saadia Altaf Qazi, representative of the Embassy of Pakistan to Norway; Karl Anders Grønland from SMB Norge; Fredrik Syversen of TEK Norge; Heidi Westbye Nyhus from Dataforeningen; Kheezran Khan from PASHA; and Jamil Goheer, CEO of Kualitatem Inc. Together, these leaders shared insights on expanding cooperation in technology, innovation, and policy frameworks that support bilateral investment and knowledge-sharing between the two nations. Their participation reflected a mutual commitment to advancing technology-led partnerships that benefit both Pakistani and Norwegian businesses.

The discussion at Pakistan Night emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration in strengthening innovation networks and fostering entrepreneurship. Speakers highlighted the potential for Pakistani startups and technology firms to engage with Norwegian partners in areas such as health technology, software development, data analytics, and digital transformation. The dialogue underscored how collaboration between established institutions and emerging innovators can generate opportunities for joint research, skill development, and the export of digital services. The event also aligned with PASHA’s broader vision of promoting Pakistan’s technology exports and building long-term relationships with international markets.

PASHA’s leadership at the event, particularly through the participation of Director Brand and Global Outreach Kheezran Khan, showcased Pakistan’s growing confidence in engaging on global platforms. By fostering meaningful exchanges at international events like HBL PASHA Konnect, the organization continues to strengthen Pakistan’s visibility in the global innovation landscape. The participation of both public and private sector leaders demonstrated a shared belief in technology as a bridge for collaboration, connecting Pakistan’s thriving IT sector with Norway’s advanced digital infrastructure.

The evening concluded with discussions around sustaining the momentum created by such bilateral engagements and translating them into actionable partnerships. The event not only highlighted Pakistan’s innovation potential but also reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation to support inclusive technological growth. HBL PASHA Konnect in Oslo stands as a reflection of Pakistan’s expanding global footprint in the digital economy and its commitment to building stronger international connections that drive progress and opportunity.
