Aurion.AI Limited, a subsidiary of Symmetry Group Limited, has formally applied to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, seeking to raise Rs750 million through an initial public offering. Symmetry Group disclosed the development in a notice to the bourse, stating that Aurion.AI had submitted its listing application through its consultant to issue, LSE Capital Limited. The company intends to raise the funds at a floor price of Rs5 per share.
Aurion.AI, headquartered in Karachi, is a technology company focused on engineering scalable digital platforms powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data intelligence. Symmetry Group said it looks forward to having another member of the Symmetry family listed on the exchange in the near future, framing the filing as part of a broader pattern of the group bringing its technology focused subsidiaries to public markets. Last year, Symmetry Group had announced plans to launch an IPO for a separate AI focused subsidiary encompassing platforms including Influsense.ai and Vidfy.ai, at the time targeting a raise of roughly Rs1.5 billion to Rs2 billion.
The filing comes as the Pakistan Stock Exchange has experienced a strong revival in its IPO market this year, with nine companies raising more than Rs20 billion through public offerings in the first half of 2026 alone. The renewed momentum has been attributed to improved macroeconomic stability under the ongoing International Monetary Fund programme, along with positive market sentiment, high liquidity, and greater political stability encouraging equity investment. The benchmark KSE-100 Index has posted significant gains over the same period, reflecting broader investor confidence, with Pakistan’s exchange outperforming global markets that saw a slowdown in IPO activity in 2024.
Despite the renewed activity, some market observers have flagged concerns around “token listings,” where company owners remain reluctant to sell meaningful equity or cede control, a pattern that can limit overall market depth and transparency even as the number of new listings increases. For Symmetry Group, which has built a track record delivering technology solutions to institutions including the State Bank of Pakistan, Aurion.AI’s listing application reflects continued confidence in tapping public markets to fund its various AI focused ventures as investor appetite for new listings on the Pakistan Stock Exchange continues to strengthen.
