A United States business and congressional delegation, facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, met with the President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore investment opportunities across Pakistan. The meeting was held in the presence of representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan’s Rawalpindi office and senior officials from the Special Investment Facilitation Council, followed by networking and B2B engagement sessions between delegation members and local business representatives.

The interaction provided a platform for the visiting delegation to explore investment opportunities across different sectors in Pakistan while fostering business connections between American and Pakistani companies. Special Investment Facilitation Council has played a coordinating role in organizing engagements of this kind, positioning itself as a bridge between international investors and Pakistan’s business and industrial sector.

The visit adds to a series of engagements between Pakistani and American business and government stakeholders aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries. Delegations of this kind typically serve as an entry point for identifying specific sectors and companies where deeper investment or partnership discussions could follow, particularly given the presence of both congressional representatives and business executives in the visiting group.

Officials described the meeting as another step toward advancing Pakistan-US economic ties and unlocking new opportunities for shared growth. The engagement reflects continued efforts by Pakistani institutions, including the Special Investment Facilitation Council and regional chambers of commerce, to deepen international business relationships and attract foreign investment into the country’s broader economy.
