Walee, the official digital rights holder for HBL PSL 10, is setting a new benchmark for cricket content in Pakistan with the launch of Walee Sports Free Hits — an innovative studio show that combines cricket analysis, comedy, and cultural commentary in a way that reflects the sensibilities of today’s digital generation. As the nation tunes in for the biggest event in Pakistan’s sporting calendar, Walee’s offering stands out by speaking directly to the Gen Z and Gen Alpha audience who are reshaping the digital sports discourse.

Spanning 34 episodes throughout the HBL PSL 10 season, Walee Sports Free Hits is engineered for the always-online, always-opinionated demographic that dominates social media and streaming platforms. The show is co-hosted by former national cricketer Ahmad Shahzad and digital personality Mehaq Khokhar, whose chemistry ensures a vibrant mix of insider cricket commentary and sharp-witted cultural observations. Whether it’s breaking down match moments, dissecting viral trends, or reacting to unforgettable game-day drama, the hosts deliver a blend of insights and entertainment that is both authentic and unapologetically fun.

According to Ali Imran Memon, SVP Creator Media at Walee, the concept was born out of a clear understanding of who today’s sports viewers are. “Ninety percent of PSL’s digital audience is under the age of 36. This generation doesn’t connect with rigid formats or traditional analysis. They want personality, spontaneity, and relatability — and Free Hits gives them just that,” he said. It’s this focus on relevance and resonance that has fueled the show’s dynamic format, which brings in two different influencers in every episode.

These guest appearances are not just cameos. They represent the full spectrum of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem, from meme-makers to lifestyle influencers and everything in between. With names like Ken Doll, Waliya Najib, Mahnoor Rahim, Laiba Khan Lodhi, Ansar A, Baekartoot, Eefrah Tahir, Ammad Meer, Anoosha Lala, Bisma Khan, and Zia Ur Rehman on board, the show is packed with voices that already command massive followings. Their presence ensures that every episode feels as unpredictable and engaging as a super over in a tight T20 match.

The inclusion of these influencers goes beyond token appearances — it brings digital fandom directly into the heart of cricket culture. Predictions, memes, banter, behind-the-scenes scoops, and celebration rituals all unfold in real-time, capturing the energy of the moment. By combining the sharp insight of someone like Ahmad Shahzad with the pop-savvy instincts of Mehaq Khokhar and their influencer guests, Free Hits succeeds in making cricket coverage accessible and exciting for a younger, digitally native audience.

With HBL PSL 10 expected to surpass 70 million unique viewers and over 700 million total views across platforms, Walee is positioning itself not just as a distributor of cricket content but as a creator of digital-first experiences. Free Hits is a cornerstone of this strategy, serving not only to complement the matches themselves but to keep viewers engaged and entertained between games, on social media, and beyond.

At its core, Walee Sports Free Hits is more than a show — it is a reflection of how cricket is evolving in Pakistan. As digital platforms become the primary space for sports engagement, Walee is ensuring that content isn’t just consumed, but celebrated. With its bold, humorous, and culturally tuned approach, Free Hits is giving Pakistan’s digital generation a cricket experience that feels personal, current, and truly their own.
