Zong has emerged as the only telecom operator to win Gold for its 5G campaigns at the Dragons of Asia Awards 2026, taking home five awards in total, including two Gold, one Bronze and two Black Dragon Awards. The recognition celebrates the creative and marketing excellence behind Zong’s 5G Launch and Aisa Hai Future campaigns, alongside further recognition for its Zong My5 2025 and Pro Max Hattrick campaigns.

Backed by the global scale, technology leadership and innovation capabilities of China Mobile, Zong launched its 5G journey with a clear purpose, to demonstrate what 5G can truly mean for Pakistan beyond faster speeds. Under the tagline Aisa Hai Future, Zong has positioned 5G as an enabler of a smarter, more connected and digitally empowered future, with the 5G Launch and Aisa Hai Future campaigns aiming to simplify complex technology and make the benefits of 5G more relatable and accessible to everyday audiences through creative storytelling and consumer education around emerging AI technologies.

Commenting on the achievement, Sajid Munir, Marketing Head at Zong, said winning five awards at the Dragons of Asia, including Gold for its 5G campaigns as the only telecom operator recognized in that category, reflects the creative excellence behind Zong’s entire brand strategy and communication. He said the recognition validates the company’s belief that 5G communication must go beyond talking about technology and instead demonstrate how technology can create real value for people, framing Aisa Hai Future as an effort to bring together 5G, AI, customer insight and creativity.

Hina Ali, Deputy Director Marcom at Zong, said the company’s objective has been to simplify the future for its audiences, noting that technologies such as 5G and AI can transform everyday experiences, but their impact becomes meaningful only when people understand how they can benefit from them. The Dragons of Asia recognition adds to Zong’s broader positioning as the operator owning the 5G era in Pakistan, reflecting its evolution from a connectivity provider into a technology services enterprise built around AI enabled solutions and next generation connectivity across its customer ecosystem.
