Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, and DAT AI Systems have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore and jointly develop technology led financial and digital solutions for government entities, educational institutions, corporates and other organizations. The MoU was signed by Zindigi Head of International Business and Alliances Rao Umer Farooq and DAT AI Systems Chief Executive Officer Abubakar Umer.

The collaboration combines Zindigi’s digital banking and payment capabilities with DAT AI Systems’ technology expertise, with both organizations planning to explore integrated solutions spanning digital payments, identity verification, fee collection, account and wallet services, disbursements and broader institutional operations. Founded in 2023, DAT AI Systems is a Pakistan based technology company that develops AI and messaging enabled solutions for workforce management, data collection and real time operations, with its technology already deployed across several large scale public sector initiatives in the country.

Speaking on the partnership, Rao Umer Farooq said Pakistan’s next phase of digital transformation will be shaped by solutions that connect technology, identity and financial services, adding that the collaboration with DAT AI Systems is intended to help develop practical solutions responsive to the evolving needs of institutions and their customers. Abubakar Umer said the partnership brings together complementary strengths in technology and financial infrastructure, adding that combining locally relevant technology with established digital financial capabilities could create scalable solutions designed specifically for the Pakistani market.

Through the collaboration, Zindigi and DAT AI Systems aim to connect technology and financial services in ways that help institutions operate more efficiently while delivering better digital experiences to the people they serve. The partnership reflects a broader pattern of Pakistani fintech and technology companies pairing established banking infrastructure with newer AI driven capabilities, as digital financial services continue to expand across both public and private sector institutions in the country.
