Four Pakistani information technology firms showcased their cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and big data solutions at the AI and Big Data Expo Europe in Amsterdam. The event, held from October 1-2, featured next-generation technologies and strategies in the world of artificial intelligence.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan sponsored the event, which included various speakers from the fields of data science. AI technology enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, comprehension, problem-solving, decision making, and creativity. Big data refers to extremely large and diverse collections of data that are used in machine learning, predictive modeling, and other advanced analytics.
The participating Pakistani IT companies, Reach the Globe, ICILtek, NorthBay Solutions, and Sofizar/ConstellationCK, represented Pakistan at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam. The Pakistan Embassy in The Hague played a crucial role in promoting their participation and facilitating booths for local companies.
The embassy also hosted a networking dinner to bring together Pakistani and Dutch businesses, providing a platform for discussing collaboration opportunities.
Muhammad Shafiq Haider Virk, Pakistan’s trade and investment councilor in the Netherlands, highlighted the growing expertise of Pakistani IT firms in AI and big data. He emphasized the embassy’s continued support for Pakistani businesses on the global stage and its efforts to strengthen trade ties with the Netherlands and Europe.
