Pakistan Tech Forum Signs MoU With LCCI To Support Trade Entrepreneurship

Pakistan Tech Forum (PTF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to create new opportunities for businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, investors and technology leaders. The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between PTF and LCCI around business growth, entrepreneurship, trade development and foreign investment. According to the announcement, the partnership will also focus on facilitating international market access and expansion opportunities for Pakistani businesses. The two organizations will work to connect entrepreneurs, startups, small and medium enterprises, investors and industry leaders, creating opportunities for collaboration across different segments of the business and technology ecosystem. The agreement also includes a focus on technology, innovation and cross-border business opportunities, linking Pakistan technology companies and entrepreneurs with wider business networks and potential international markets.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Farhan Saleem, Co-Founder of Pakistan Tech Forum, and Faheem ur Rehman Saigol, President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Ayesha Zaman, Co-Founder of Pakistan Tech Forum. The signing brings together a technology focused industry platform and a major business chamber, with the collaboration intended to create connections between the technology and wider business communities. Through the partnership, businesses and technology leaders will have opportunities to engage with stakeholders involved in trade, investment and entrepreneurship. The agreement also provides a basis for PTF and LCCI to explore areas where their respective networks can support businesses seeking to enter international markets or develop cross-border commercial relationships.

The collaboration covers several areas that are relevant to the growth of Pakistan business and technology ecosystem. Promoting trade development and foreign investment is one of the stated areas, alongside efforts to provide businesses with greater access to international markets. Connecting startups and small and medium enterprises with investors and industry leaders is another component of the agreement. The partnership also places emphasis on innovation and technology, which can create opportunities for technology companies and entrepreneurs to engage with businesses operating in traditional sectors. By bringing these groups together, PTF and LCCI intend to facilitate professional connections and discussions that could lead to commercial relationships, investment opportunities and international business expansion.

Several PTF core members and industry professionals also attended the signing ceremony. These included Usman Akbar, Chief Executive Officer of PureLogics; Abdullah Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Coding Pixel; Hamad Pervaiz, Chief Executive Officer of BearPlex; Imran Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of ITEL Services; Muddassir Naeem Ch and Imran Haider. Their participation reflects involvement from technology companies and industry professionals in the initiative. The agreement between PTF and LCCI is expected to provide a platform for continued engagement between the technology and business communities, with international market access, entrepreneurship, investment, innovation and cross-border opportunities forming key areas of the collaboration. The two organizations will continue working through their respective networks to translate the partnership into opportunities for businesses, startups and technology leaders.
