Systems Limited is placing greater emphasis on artificial intelligence, international expansion and targeted acquisitions as it seeks to maintain its growth momentum, with a healthy backlog and rising demand from enterprise customers supporting its outlook. According to the company’s latest financial review, recent acquisitions Confiz and BAT Shared Services Center have performed well in terms of revenue growth during the second quarter, while management expects additional opportunities through cross selling and upselling among the acquired businesses’ customer bases. The acquisition of Confiz has also given Systems Limited direct access to enterprise clients in North America, allowing the company to combine its expanded customer reach with its delivery capabilities and industry expertise. Management expects the integration of Confiz to produce synergies during the second half of 2026 and contribute to a more geographically diversified revenue base.
The company is also strengthening its presence across several international markets as part of its broader expansion strategy. In North America, Systems Limited plans to scale platforms acquired through Confiz and deepen relationships with enterprise customers through its existing partnerships. In the United Kingdom and Europe, the company has established a United Kingdom entity and is developing a full regional operation, with leadership already in place. The United Kingdom is expected to serve as a base for further expansion into continental Europe. In the Asia Pacific region, investments made during the previous year have started producing results in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. Systems Limited said a growing backlog and stronger channel partnerships are supporting expansion in the region, while it is also evaluating the establishment of a delivery centre in Malaysia. The company’s Middle East operations have remained resilient despite regional geopolitical developments, with its existing customer base intact and no signs of negative growth reported so far.
Artificial intelligence is emerging as an important area of demand for Systems Limited, with management saying productivity improvements associated with AI are contributing to larger technology deals. The company has been increasing the use of AI across its own internal processes as well as solutions developed for clients, while expanding access to AI tools among its workforce to improve productivity and service delivery. With a global customer base of more than 300 clients, management sees further scope for technology services as businesses seek to use AI for growth and automation. Systems Limited said it is already working with both existing and new customers on opportunities involving AI, including agentic AI and autonomous systems. Demand from banking, telecommunications and public sector customers in the Middle East is also being supported by increased interest in these technologies.
Systems Limited is continuing to assess merger and acquisition opportunities, particularly in Western markets, as it seeks to expand its presence in the United States and Europe while creating a more balanced geographical portfolio. The company has also been increasing its delivery capacity, with its Egypt centre now operational and providing additional resources for regional and international customers. A development centre has been started in Malaysia, while another centre is planned in Jordan to expand access to technology talent and support international clients. In Pakistan, the company said its domestic business has undergone a notable turnaround, with profitability improving from negative to positive levels. Management expects further improvement supported by its backlog and pipeline, while working to bring domestic margins closer to those achieved in international markets. Systems Limited reported 35.3 per cent year on year growth in consolidated revenue to Rs49.72 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, while consolidated profit after tax increased 17.4 per cent to Rs6.05 billion. The company attributed the performance to organic and inorganic growth, improved efficiency and operational optimisation despite wage and fuel cost inflation and the impact of rupee appreciation on revenue generated largely in foreign currencies.
