Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is inviting Pakistani technology companies to join a national delegation attending TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, scheduled for October 13 to 15 in San Francisco. The initiative will bring Pakistani companies into an international technology environment where founders, investors, technology leaders and innovators from around the world are expected to participate. PSEB is offering a 60% subsidy to significantly reduce the participation cost for eligible delegates, with the programme designed to provide Pakistani technology companies with opportunities to develop international business relationships and increase their visibility in the United States. The United States is Pakistan’s largest IT and Information Technology Enabled Services export market, making participation in a major technology event in San Francisco relevant for companies seeking clients, investment, partnerships and access to the wider US technology ecosystem. Through the delegation, PSEB is providing participating companies with institutional support while creating a collective platform through which Pakistani technology businesses can present their capabilities to international audiences. The initiative is being conducted with support from the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, Tech Destination Pakistan and the Pakistan Embassy.
The participation package includes a Founder Pass for TechCrunch Disrupt, shared space in the Pakistan Pavilion and company visibility within the pavilion. Participating companies will also receive curated networking opportunities through PSEB and Pakistan Embassy, allowing delegates to connect with potential business partners, investors and other technology industry participants. The Pakistan Pavilion will provide a shared platform for companies to showcase their products, services and technology capabilities while presenting a collective presence for the Pakistan technology ecosystem. PSEB will also provide institutional and on-ground support to participating delegates during the event. The package is intended to reduce some of the barriers companies can face when attending international technology conferences independently, particularly the cost associated with participation and establishing a presence at a major global event. By bringing companies together under a national delegation, PSEB can provide a coordinated platform for Pakistani businesses while also promoting the country’s IT and ITeS sector to international audiences. The 60% subsidy is expected to lower the overall participation cost for eligible companies and make it more accessible for businesses that meet the programme requirements.
PSEB has identified specific technology sectors for companies interested in joining the delegation. Eligible businesses include companies working in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, biotechnology and health, financial technology, mobility and enterprise Software as a Service. Applicants are expected to demonstrate export performance and have either an existing US business footprint or an established business pipeline in the US market. Companies with valid US visas will be given preference during the selection process. These requirements indicate that the programme is aimed at companies with existing international business activity or a clear commercial interest in the US market rather than businesses at the earliest stages of development. Participation at TechCrunch Disrupt can provide selected companies with an opportunity to meet potential clients and investors while learning about developments across the global technology sector. For businesses already exporting technology services or products, direct access to US industry participants can also support business development activities and create opportunities for future commercial relationships. The event is particularly relevant for companies operating in emerging technology fields, where connections with investors, enterprise customers and technology leaders can influence international expansion.
Applications for participation in the PSEB delegation will remain open until September 5, 2026. Companies interested in joining are required to submit their applications along with the required Pay Order or bank draft in favour of Pakistan Software Export Board. The application process is intended to identify companies that meet the sector, export performance and US market requirements before the delegation travels to San Francisco. The initiative also gives PSEB an opportunity to promote Pakistani technology companies collectively at one of the major technology industry events taking place in the United States. For participating businesses, the combination of subsidised participation, exhibition space, networking support and institutional assistance can provide an opportunity to engage directly with the US technology market. The programme comes as Pakistan continues to seek greater international visibility for its IT and ITeS sector, with the United States remaining an important destination for technology exports. Through the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 delegation, PSEB is encouraging eligible Pakistani companies to build international connections, pursue potential clients and investment opportunities and establish relationships within the wider US technology ecosystem.
