A call for papers has opened for the 6th International Conference on Big Data Economy and Digital Management (BDEDM 2027), scheduled to take place in Harbin, China, from January 22 to 24, 2027. The conference, chaired by Professor Muhammad Khurram Khan, a Pakistani cybersecurity academic based at King Saud University and founder of the Global Foundation for Cyber Studies and Research, is inviting researchers, academics, data scientists, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to submit original research, applied studies, and interdisciplinary contributions ahead of the event. This year’s edition places particular emphasis on moving beyond purely technological innovation toward practical, scalable, secure, and responsible deployment of AI and data driven solutions, according to the call for papers.
The conference’s key subject areas span a wide range of emerging technology fields, including big data technologies and intelligent analytics, generative AI and AI agents, machine learning and deep learning, and digital economy and business intelligence. BDEDM has run for five prior editions in various Chinese cities including Beijing, Changsha, Ningbo, and Guangzhou, building a track record as a recurring venue for big data economy and digital management research since its first edition in 2022.
