Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) Chairman Sajjad Syed led a delegation of technology industry leaders to the Office of AI Punjab for discussions focused on the development of Punjab technology ecosystem and challenges facing the local IT sector. The delegation met with Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Ali Dar, with discussions covering areas including technology exports, government and industry engagement, international investment and startup development. The meeting brought together representatives from several major technology companies, including InfoTech Group, Abacus, Tkxel, Contour Software and Systems Limited. P@SHA said the engagement provided an opportunity for technology industry representatives to discuss how the Office of AI can work more closely with the private sector to address industry concerns and create an environment that supports technology businesses operating in Punjab. Sajjad Syed also expressed appreciation to the Office of AI for hosting the delegation, saying the meeting could provide benefits for the technology industry in Pakistan.
A major part of the discussion focused on improving collaboration between the government and technology industry to support companies operating in Punjab.
