Pakistan Software Export Board is preparing to take 20 Pakistani IT and ITeS companies to Web Summit Lisbon 2026, scheduled to take place from November 9 to 12. The event will bring together more than 70,000 attendees from over 160 countries, including investors, founders and global technology companies, giving participating Pakistani firms direct access to potential clients and partners in Europe.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that PSEB has facilitated Pakistani participation at Web Summit, a platform it has used to help local companies build international connections and establish trade pipelines. The upcoming edition will extend that opportunity to another cohort of 20 companies, continuing efforts to position Pakistan as one of the leading sources of IT and technology services globally. Companies selected for the delegation will receive shared space within the 24 square meter Pakistan Pavilion, along with an exhibition entry pass that grants access to the full conference. Participation also includes company branding and visibility during the event, a visa invitation letter issued by the event organizers to support travel arrangements, and curated networking sessions organized jointly by PSEB and the Pakistan Embassy to connect delegates with relevant international contacts.
Eligibility for the program is open to companies operating in IT and ITeS, software development, artificial intelligence and other emerging technology fields, provided they demonstrate export performance along with an existing European footprint or an active business pipeline in the region. Interested companies have been given until September 5, 2026 to submit their applications. The application process requires submission through the PSEB portal, where companies must upload the required supporting documents. As part of the process, applicants are also required to prepare a pay order in favor of Pakistan Software Export Board.
Officials at PSEB have positioned the initiative as part of a broader push to expand Pakistan’s presence in international technology markets and support the collective promotion of the country’s tech ecosystem on a global stage. By offering shared exhibition space, structured networking and formal introductions to investors and corporate buyers, the program is designed to lower the barriers that individual companies often face when entering new export markets on their own. Companies interested in applying can access the application portal directly through the PSEB Tech Destination platform before the September deadline.
