Abu Bakar, CEO of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), is set to take the stage at GITEX 2025 to discuss the growing opportunities and global interest in Pakistan’s IT sector. His session, titled “Driving Global Investments in Pakistan’s IT Sector,” will be held on Thursday, 16 October at the AI Stage, Hall 10, Dubai World Trade Centre. This session provides a platform to highlight how Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem is attracting international investors and shaping the country’s technological landscape.

Through initiatives led by PSEB and Tech Destination Pakistan, the country has seen steady growth in IT exports, startups, and global partnerships. Abu Bakar’s session will focus on showcasing these achievements and the ongoing efforts to create a business-friendly environment that supports innovation and investment. Attendees can expect insights into policy frameworks, strategic collaborations, and initiatives that have positioned Pakistan as a hub for digital and IT services in the region.

The session comes as part of GITEX 2025, running from 13–17 October, which brings together technology leaders, investors, and innovators from around the world. With participation from key stakeholders such as Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the conference offers an opportunity to connect Pakistan’s IT sector with global investors, opening doors to collaboration and growth. Abu Bakar’s presentation aims to highlight not only the commercial potential but also the talent and innovation driving Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
