FAST-NUCES Karachi Campus and Code Avenue have reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration through the signing of a Continuation & Collaboration Note on September 23, 2026. The agreement builds on a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two organisations in April 2026 and is focused on expanding opportunities for students through greater interaction between academia and the technology industry. The renewed collaboration will cover student internships, industry exposure, career and recruitment opportunities, technical sessions, workshops and knowledge sharing, while both organisations will also explore additional areas of mutual cooperation.
The collaboration is intended to provide FAST-NUCES students with greater exposure to professional environments and potential career opportunities. As part of the continued engagement, Code Avenue and the university will work on internship opportunities and industry interaction that can help students gain practical experience alongside their academic studies. The partnership also provides a platform for technical sessions and workshops, allowing students to interact with industry professionals and gain insights into skills and practices relevant to the technology sector.
Representatives from Code Avenue visited the FAST-NUCES Karachi campus for discussions on the ongoing partnership and possible areas for further engagement. The delegation included Anosha Siddiqui, Manager HR, Ramsha Mujtaba, Assistant Manager HR, and Iqra Khalid, Technical Recruiter. The session was conducted by Sheeraz Ahmed Khan from the university’s Office of Internship Coordination, with discussions focusing on internship opportunities and continued industry engagement. Muhammad Shoaib, Assistant Manager – Student Affairs, later joined the discussion and briefed the Code Avenue team about university events, student activities and industry-related initiatives.
The renewed collaboration reflects the growing focus on connecting university education with industry requirements and creating practical opportunities for students before they enter the professional workforce. By continuing its engagement with Code Avenue, FAST-NUCES Karachi aims to provide students with access to internships, recruitment opportunities, technical learning and industry interaction. Both organisations said they intend to build on the existing partnership and explore additional opportunities that can support student development while strengthening connections between academic institutions and the technology industry.
