The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has signed a Copyright License Agreement with ZTE Pakistan to support the implementation of an ongoing training program aimed at developing Pakistan’s IT talent and digital workforce. The agreement was signed by PSEB CEO Faisal Jeddy and ZTE Pakistan Deputy CEO Jiang Duxin during a meeting focused on the progress and implementation of the ZTE Training Program in Pakistan. The agreement enables PSEB to receive and use training content developed by ZTE Headquarters as part of the initiative.
The signing follows an earlier Memorandum of Understanding between PSEB and ZTE focused on IT talent development and capacity-building initiatives. Through the Copyright License Agreement, PSEB will be able to utilise ZTE’s training material to support the programme’s activities in Pakistan. The initiative is intended to provide students, faculty members and professionals in the IT sector with access to industry-relevant learning content and exposure to technologies used in the global technology industry.
The meeting was attended by ZTE Pakistan Deputy CEO Muhammad Rizwan, PSEB Chief Skills Development Officer Dr. Henna Karamat Durrani and ZTE Pakistan Deputy CEO Rizwan Rathore. Discussions covered the ongoing training programme and its implementation in Pakistan, with the agreement representing a further step in the collaboration between the two organisations. The partnership brings together PSEB’s role in developing Pakistan’s technology ecosystem with ZTE’s technical training resources and industry expertise.
PSEB said the collaboration reflects the shared objective of equipping Pakistan’s students, faculty and IT workforce with relevant digital skills and knowledge of emerging technologies. The training programme is expected to contribute to capacity building by providing participants with structured learning opportunities based on industry-developed content. The latest agreement also adds to PSEB’s ongoing efforts to develop the country’s digital talent base and support the availability of skilled professionals for Pakistan’s growing IT and technology sector.
