The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has announced an opening for a Manager, Data & Research to support data-driven decision-making across Pakistan’s technology export ecosystem. The position will focus on transforming information about the country’s rapidly evolving IT sector into meaningful industry intelligence that can help identify growth areas, emerging opportunities and programme performance. The role is expected to contribute to PSEB’s efforts to better understand developments across the technology sector through structured data analysis and research.

The selected candidate will work across industry research, data analysis, performance monitoring and business intelligence. Responsibilities will include building and managing datasets, analysing information collected from multiple sources, developing dashboards and reports, monitoring key performance indicators and presenting insights to management. The position will require the ability to translate complex datasets into practical findings that can support planning and decision-making within PSEB and contribute to a clearer understanding of Pakistan’s technology export sector.

PSEB is seeking candidates with at least four years of relevant professional experience along with strong analytical capabilities and practical experience working with data and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with platforms including Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio and SQL, as well as advanced spreadsheet capabilities, is listed among the relevant technical requirements. The role is particularly focused on candidates who can combine data management and analytical skills with industry research and performance monitoring to produce useful insights for organisational decision-making.

Applications for the Manager, Data & Research position are open through the National Job Portal, with the deadline set for September 27, 2026. The appointment forms part of PSEB’s broader work to support Pakistan’s technology export ecosystem by improving access to industry information and data-based insights. Through the position, PSEB aims to strengthen its ability to track sector developments, assess programmes and identify opportunities using structured research and business intelligence.
