NADRA has launched a mobile registration initiative in the United Kingdom to bring essential identity services directly to overseas Pakistani communities. Scheduled for August 2 and 3, 2025, the two-day drive will deploy mobile registration vans across key UK cities, including Burton on Trent (Birmingham), Middlesbrough (Bradford), and Belfast (Manchester). Specific locations within these cities will be announced soon.
These mobile vans will provide critical services such as the issuance and renewal of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs), and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs). The initiative is designed to support overseas Pakistanis who often face logistical challenges in accessing NADRA services, especially those residing far from permanent registration centers.
To ensure efficiency and faster processing, Pakistani citizens residing in the UK are encouraged to bring their old CNICs or B-Forms when visiting the mobile units. NADRA has also arranged for separate counters and dedicated female staff at each van to make the process more inclusive and comfortable for women attending the drive.
This mobile registration effort is part of NADRA’s broader strategy to expand access to identification services and digitize the citizen registration experience. For overseas Pakistanis who cannot attend in person, NADRA continues to push digital convenience through its Pak ID mobile app. The app allows users to apply for CNIC renewals, request FRCs, register life events such as births, deaths, and marital status changes, and even submit applications for government jobs using Single Sign-On (SSO).
By digitizing these services, NADRA aims to minimize the need for physical visits and reduce paperwork. The app provides a streamlined, secure channel for Pakistani citizens both at home and abroad to manage their identification needs without visiting a NADRA center. This aligns with the authority’s ongoing efforts to integrate technology into citizen services and offer flexible solutions for global Pakistanis.
The mobile registration drive and enhancements to the Pak ID app underscore NADRA’s commitment to making national identification services more accessible, efficient, and user-centric.
