Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) has held a meeting with the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) to explore opportunities for business cooperation and technology collaboration between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The meeting brought together representatives from both organisations to discuss ways to develop stronger connections between the two countries’ business and technology communities. The engagement is part of P@SHA’s efforts to build international relationships that could create new opportunities for its member companies.

P@SHA was represented by Muhammad Zohaib Khan, member of its Central Executive Committee, and Zain Tariq, Manager of Special Initiatives. DCCI representatives attending the meeting included Mir Shahrukh Islam, AHM Maniruzzaman and Rahul Acharjee. Discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration and opportunities to connect businesses across both markets, with technology and industry linkages forming an important part of the engagement.

The meeting also included discussions about an upcoming event planned for November, with both sides exploring initiatives intended to deliver greater value to P@SHA’s member community. Details about the event, including its date, venue, agenda and participating organisations, have not yet been announced. The proposed engagement could provide a platform for businesses to discuss shared interests and identify opportunities for further cooperation.

P@SHA’s engagement with DCCI reflects its continued interest in expanding international connections for Pakistan’s information technology sector. Cooperation between business organisations in Pakistan and Bangladesh could help companies explore commercial relationships, exchange industry knowledge and identify potential technology partnerships. Further details about specific initiatives and outcomes are expected as discussions between the two organisations progress.
