The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) is encouraging employees across Pakistan to report workplace harassment through its digital Complaint Management System (CMS) and mobile application. Developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB), the platform enables men and women to register complaints online and track their cases without visiting physical offices.
The system allows individuals to report various forms of workplace harassment, including abuse of authority, the creation of hostile work environments and retaliatory actions. By providing digital access to the complaint process, the initiative aims to make reporting more accessible for employees seeking protection against inappropriate conduct in professional settings.
According to FOSPAH, complainants’ identities and case details are protected under applicable quasi-judicial safeguards. The platform also enables users to track the progress of their complaints online, reducing the need for in-person visits and making case management more convenient.
The FOSPAH mobile application is available for Android and iOS users, while the online portal provides an additional channel for submitting and tracking complaints. The initiative highlights the role of digital platforms in improving access to public services and complaint-handling mechanisms in Pakistan. Employees experiencing workplace harassment are encouraged to speak up and use the available official channels to seek redress.
