Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) has invited proposals for the hiring of its official public relations (PR) firm, and it is looking for a reputable and experienced agency to take on the role. The announcement was shared by the association on its official page, together with a request for proposals (RFP) document and submission guidelines. The association wants a firm that can represent it in its dealings with the public and with stakeholders, and it has set out the tasks that the selected agency will be expected to perform, along with the values that the PR strategy should reflect, which are innovation, collaboration, integrity and inclusivity.
According to the announcement, the firm is expected to promote P@SHA as a strong national and global voice for the information technology (IT) industry of Pakistan. It will also proactively manage reputational risks and crises, and it will help improve engagement with government, the private sector and international partners. The association has asked that the PR strategies of the firm be aligned with its values, which gives applicants a clear standard against which their proposals will be assessed, and which shows that the association wants its public image to match the principles that it states publicly.
The association has also listed the challenges that the selected firm will need to tackle. These include policy lobbying, global outreach, reputation management and public perception. Together with the tasks listed earlier, they show that the role covers both the domestic side of the work, such as dealing with policymakers and the public, and the international side, in which the association seeks to present the IT industry of Pakistan to audiences abroad. Firms that wish to apply should be able to show experience in these areas when they prepare their proposals.
The deadline for submissions is October 23, 2026, and proposals should be sent to brand@pasha.org.pk. The full RFP document and submission guidelines are available through the link that the association has shared. The announcement also acknowledged Tech Destination Pakistan, and it was posted with hashtags that include PASHA, RFP, PublicRelations, PRAgency and ITIndustry. Interested agencies have until October 23 to review the document and send their proposals to the association.
