PSEB has taken a step towards showcasing the country’s growing EdTech sector with the release of a draft report titled EdTech Industry Roundup. As part of its broader Industry Vertical Coverage initiative, PSEB is inviting stakeholders to review the draft, provide feedback, and ensure their inclusion in this comprehensive overview of Pakistan’s EdTech industry. The deadline for submitting feedback is January 10, 2025.

This initiative aims to position Pakistan as a global technology hub, highlighting the innovative contributions of the country’s EdTech companies and startups. By creating a detailed report, PSEB intends to promote the dynamic growth of this sector to international audiences, paving the way for global collaborations and investments.

The EdTech Industry Roundup draft is available for review on LinkedIn and other platforms. Companies are encouraged to examine the document for accuracy and completeness. This includes checking whether their organization is listed and ensuring that all related information is up-to-date. Companies not currently featured in the draft are invited to fill out a questionnaire to secure their place in this landmark project.

To ensure comprehensive coverage, stakeholders are requested to submit their feedback through a provided form. The form allows participants to highlight errors, suggest updates, or confirm their inclusion in the roundup. The draft can be accessed here, while the feedback form is available here.

PSEB’s efforts go beyond documentation—they aim to enhance Pakistan’s reputation as a leader in technological innovation. By spotlighting the EdTech sector, PSEB underscores the importance of this industry in addressing educational challenges, particularly in developing economies. Pakistani EdTech firms have demonstrated remarkable progress in creating solutions for digital learning, online education platforms, and technology-driven teaching tools, contributing to the global conversation on the future of education.

The initiative also underscores PSEB’s commitment to driving collaboration between industry players and policymakers. By collecting input from EdTech companies, the organization ensures that the final report reflects the breadth and depth of innovation within the sector. This collaborative approach aligns with PSEB’s mission to facilitate growth in the country’s IT industry and promote its achievements on a global stage.

For those with specific inquiries or who require assistance during the feedback process, PSEB has designated a contact point. Questions can be directed to Syed Hassan at shassan@pseb.org.pk.

By participating in this project, Pakistani EdTech firms and startups have an opportunity to elevate their visibility in the global market. The EdTech Industry Roundup not only celebrates the industry’s milestones but also creates pathways for future growth and partnerships. PSEB’s initiative is a testament to Pakistan’s burgeoning potential in the technology sector and its aspirations to make a meaningful impact on the global stage.
