TDAP Quetta, in collaboration with Circle Women Association and Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI), organized a Digital Literacy Program for women entrepreneurs on September 3, 2026, at QCCI in Quetta. The training session focused on developing digital literacy and building the capacity of women entrepreneurs by encouraging the adoption of digital tools for business development. The initiative aimed to help participants explore ways to expand their markets, improve their understanding of digital marketing techniques, and make effective use of digital financial services to support business growth and sustainability.
The training provided participants with practical guidance on a range of digital tools and techniques relevant to running and promoting a business. Ms. Hareem conducted the training session and guided participants on practical digital business tools, online marketing strategies, social media promotion, product presentation, and customer engagement. The session was designed to provide women entrepreneurs with knowledge that could be applied to their existing business activities, particularly in areas where digital platforms can support promotion, communication with customers, presentation of products, and access to wider markets. The focus on digital financial services also highlighted the role of technology in facilitating business-related financial activities and supporting the sustainability of enterprises.
The program brought together stakeholders from the trade, business, and community sectors to support greater digital awareness among women entrepreneurs in Quetta. Digital marketing and social media platforms can provide businesses with additional channels to present their products and communicate with potential customers, while digital tools can assist entrepreneurs in managing different aspects of their operations. By introducing participants to these tools and practices, the training sought to increase their familiarity with digital methods that can be incorporated into business development strategies. The initiative also addressed market expansion by highlighting how online platforms and digital communication can help entrepreneurs reach customers beyond their immediate local markets.
The welcome note at the event was delivered by Mr. Asif Abro, Assistant Director at TDAP Quetta. Haji Muhammad Ayub Marriani, President of QCCI, delivered the closing remarks and appreciated the initiative aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs through digital literacy and capacity development. Certificates were also distributed among the trainees at the conclusion of the program. The collaboration between TDAP Quetta, Circle Women Association, and QCCI reflects an effort to provide women entrepreneurs with practical exposure to digital tools and business practices that can contribute to their participation in increasingly technology-enabled commercial activities.
