ISACA Karachi has announced the second installment of its Beyond the Buzz series, focusing on the challenges and issues emerging from the growing adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The upcoming interactive session, titled “Beyond the Buzz: AI in Media: From Experimentation to Execution,” will examine how organizations can adopt AI responsibly for media production and management while using the technology to improve productivity, creativity, and business outcomes. The session is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Karachi and will bring together representatives from the business, industrial, media, technology, and professional communities.
The seminar is being organized by Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in collaboration with Rotary Club of Karachi East (RCKE) and ISACA Karachi. Participants will gather at Majeed Bawany Hall at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with arrival scheduled between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM, followed by proceedings from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The session is expected to run for approximately three hours and will focus on the practical considerations surrounding AI use in media environments. The organizers are positioning the event as an interactive discussion where participants can explore the transition from experimenting with AI tools toward applying them in organizational settings in a responsible manner.
The event is intended for a broad range of professionals and stakeholders from Karachi business and technology communities. The business and industry segment includes all Managing Committee members of KCCI, former KCCI presidents, business community leaders, industrial town association chairs, and representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises. The media, technology, and Rotary segment includes news, media, television, and social media professionals, ISACA Karachi members, members of RCKE and other Rotarians, heads of Information Technology departments, Information Technology professionals, software engineers, and entrepreneurs. The organizers said the session is designed to provide participants from these different fields with an opportunity to discuss the impact and practical application of Artificial Intelligence in media production and management.
The Beyond the Buzz series session comes as organizations continue to examine how Artificial Intelligence can be integrated into professional workflows while addressing considerations related to responsible use, productivity, creativity, privacy, cybersecurity, and governance. The involvement of ISACA Karachi also brings an information systems and technology governance perspective to the discussion, while KCCI provides a connection to the wider business and industrial community and Rotary Club Karachi East contributes its professional network. Registration is available through the event registration link, with organizers noting that seats are limited. Further event details have also been shared through the organizers’ information link ahead of the September 5 session.
