Dyson has expanded its smart home and personal care portfolio with the introduction of 11 new products during its Dyson Unveiled event in Berlin. Although the company is not officially participating in IFA 2026, Europe’s largest technology exhibition, it hosted its own product showcase nearby, unveiling a broad range of air purifiers, robotic vacuum cleaners, floor cleaning devices, and haircare products. The announcements follow the recent introduction of Dyson’s new toothbrush in Paris and reflect the company’s increased focus on integrating artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning into consumer devices. According to Chief Engineer Jake Dyson, intelligence is the defining theme of the company’s 2026 product lineup, with several new products designed to automatically adapt their performance based on user needs and environmental conditions.
One of the biggest announcements from the event was the HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+ air purifier, which becomes Dyson’s new flagship air purification system. Available in three sizes, the purifier features a redesigned directional nozzle capable of projecting purified air across large rooms or even multiple connected spaces. Dyson describes it as its most powerful purifier to date, built for long range air projection and multi room purification. The unit incorporates a three stage filtration system that captures dust, airborne particles, gases, and also destroys formaldehyde. The same directional nozzle has been engineered to reduce operating noise while improving airflow efficiency, and Dyson confirmed that this design will gradually be introduced across its broader portfolio of air purifiers, heaters, and cooling products. The HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+ is priced at $1,099, making it one of the premium products in the company’s latest lineup.
Dyson also introduced a new family of robotic vacuum cleaners under the Nurovi brand, a name combining neural intelligence with vision systems. Leading the series is the Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV, a wet and dry robotic cleaner equipped with advanced sensors, ultraviolet lighting, green illumination, and artificial intelligence capabilities that enable it to detect and identify nearly 200 different types of household substances and objects. The system can recognize stains that are not easily visible to the human eye and automatically adjust its cleaning process. Its self cleaning wet roller uses a 12 point hydration system with water heated to 158 degrees Fahrenheit to improve stain removal performance. The R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub UV is scheduled to launch on September 15 with a retail price of $1,199. Alongside it, Dyson announced the R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, which supports both carpets and hard floors while using Reuleaux triangle cleaning pads designed to reach corners, edges, and narrow spaces more effectively. The cleaner also features a twin capture system that separates fine and coarse debris to improve cleaning performance. Unlike the premium model, it does not include AI powered stain detection but still uses heated water for floor cleaning. The Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry is available starting today for $699 and will be sold exclusively through Costco.
Completing the announcements, Dyson revealed an upgraded version of its slim PencilWash floor cleaner. The new W1 PencilWash includes a redesigned absorbent roller for improved cleaning performance and introduces a more hygienic waste collection system. The cleaning dock now features a built in self cleaning function, reducing maintenance requirements while helping keep the device ready for daily use. Dyson has maintained the lightweight and slim design that defines the PencilWash series, making it suitable for users seeking compact floor cleaning solutions. The W1 PencilWash is expected to become available during Fall 2026 with a retail price of $349. Across its latest product portfolio, Dyson continues to expand the use of intelligent technologies in household appliances, combining AI driven features with enhanced cleaning performance and air purification capabilities across multiple product categories.
