Epic Games Store has revealed the next two games that will be available for free to PC players, with Astral Ascent and Luftrausers set to join the platform’s weekly giveaway on September 10. Both titles will be available as part of Epic Games Store’s regular free-game program, giving users an opportunity to add the games to their libraries without purchasing them during the promotional period. The new titles will replace the current weekly offering, continuing Epic Games Store’s schedule of rotating free games for its users.

Astral Ascent is a fast-paced action platformer featuring roguelite gameplay, with players taking on challenging enemies and progressing through different environments. The game combines platforming with combat and character development, offering players different abilities and approaches as they advance through its procedurally varied runs. Its inclusion in the giveaway provides PC players with an opportunity to experience an action-focused indie title without an additional purchase during the promotional window.

The second title, Luftrausers, offers a very different experience, focusing on fast aerial combat and arcade-style action. Players control customizable aircraft and take part in intense battles against enemy forces, with the game built around quick movement, combat encounters and repeated attempts to improve performance. The contrasting genres of the two games give this week’s upcoming giveaway a varied lineup, with Astral Ascent targeting players interested in action platforming and roguelite mechanics while Luftrausers caters to fans of compact arcade-style combat.

The two games will become available on September 10 and are expected to remain free for one week, following Epic Games Store’s established weekly giveaway schedule. Players who claim a promotional game during its availability period can add it to their Epic Games Store library and retain access after the giveaway ends. Epic Games Store is currently offering Alone With You for free until September 10, after which Astral Ascent and Luftrausers will take its place. The continuing weekly giveaways provide PC players with a rotating selection of titles and make it worthwhile for users to check the store regularly for newly announced promotions.
