Redmagic has introduced the 11 Air, a lighter and slimmer iteration of its gaming smartphone lineup that balances portability with robust hardware. Following the Redmagic 10 Air, this new model enhances performance, cooling, and battery life, making it a compelling choice for mobile gamers who want power without the bulk of the larger 11 Pro. The phone retains a metal and glass construction, feeling solid in the hand despite measuring 163.82mm by 76.54mm by 7.85mm and weighing 207 grams. It includes the signature shoulder triggers for gaming, a red Magic Key for accessing gaming tools, and RGB lighting on the rear panel, emphasizing Redmagic’s focus on immersive gameplay aesthetics. A notable addition is the 24,000 RPM internal fan for improved thermal management, enhancing long gaming sessions.

The 11 Air features a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and peak brightness of 1800 nits, delivering a sharp and vivid visual experience. Its under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera and embedded fingerprint sensor allow for a notch-free design, ensuring uninterrupted screen space for gaming or media consumption. Audio comes through dual speakers positioned at the top and bottom edges, providing a balanced sound output. While there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4 support allows for wireless audio solutions. The display also supports a 95.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and responsive touch sampling rates for precise in-game control.

Under the hood, the 11 Air is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with an Adreno 830 GPU and a dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip. Users can choose between 12 or 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 or 512 gigabytes of UFS 4.1 storage. Performance testing demonstrated smooth gameplay across a variety of titles, from casual 2D games to complex 3D titles such as Genshin Impact. The dedicated cooling fan combined with the ICE system effectively managed heat, ensuring extended sessions remain comfortable. The 11 Air also supports a large 7,000mAh battery, offering between six to seven hours of continuous gaming, while fast charging restores power to 64 percent in 30 minutes.

Photography on the 11 Air is functional though not class-leading. A 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens delivers satisfactory results in good lighting conditions, with low-light performance being acceptable but limited. The under-display front camera has improved clarity compared to previous models, while video recording can reach up to 8K at 30 frames per second, though 4K at 60 frames per second offers more practical results.

Software is based on Android 16 with Redmagic OS 11 layered on top, featuring minimal bloatware and practical AI tools, including live translation, note transcription, and custom wallpaper generation. A highlight is the Game Space suite, which enhances gameplay, allows in-game control mapping, and offers an anime-style assistant for tactical support.

Redmagic 11 Air is available from February 11, 2026, with prices ranging from $529 for the 12GB+256GB version to $629 for the 16GB+512GB variant. While the 11 Pro offers more advanced cooling and a slightly larger battery, the 11 Air provides a portable, capable, and comfortable gaming experience for enthusiasts seeking high-end performance in a slimmer package.
