Jetour has expanded its SUV lineup in Pakistan with the launch of the T1 i-DM plug-in hybrid and a new petrol variant of the T2, unveiled at an event held at Expo Centre Lahore. The launch follows the company’s earlier introduction of the T2 PHEV, which went on sale in July priced at Rs12.79 million, giving buyers additional options across both the compact and mid-size SUV segments.
The Jetour T1 is a five-seat crossover SUV built with a boxy, off-road inspired design, launched in Pakistan with a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain. The vehicle produces 340 horsepower and 530 Nm of combined torque, drawing from an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that offers a claimed 100-kilometer electric range and a combined range of up to 1,200 kilometers. The SUV includes six driving modes, covering Sport, Economy, Standard, Snow, EV and HEV, along with six airbags, Level 2 advanced driver assistance features, a 540-degree camera system, and a 15.6-inch infotainment screen paired with nine Sony speakers. Jetour has not yet announced pricing for the T1, saying it will reveal the figure once the new auto policy is finalized, though bookings are already open with a Rs2 million booking amount.
The Jetour T2, a larger five-seat SUV positioned above the T1 in the company’s lineup, has now received a new 2.0-liter turbo petrol variant called the T2 2.0 XWD, following the earlier launch of its plug-in hybrid version. The petrol variant produces 244 horsepower and 375 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and intelligent all-wheel drive. It offers a wider set of driving modes, including Sand, Rock, Snow, Normal, Sport, Eco, Mud and X Smart Mode, alongside six airbags, Level 2 driver assistance, a 540-degree camera, and a 15.6-inch infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected to 12 Sony speakers.
Jetour has priced the T2 2.0 XWD at Rs13.59 million, with bookings requiring a Rs3 million deposit. The petrol variant is positioned to compete with vehicles such as the Toyota Fortuner V and Kia Sorento V6, while the T1 is aimed at the compact SUV segment, competing against models including the Jaecoo J7, MG HS Super Hybrid, Omoda 7 and Haval H6 PHEV.
