Special Technology Zones Authority conducted the second day of its awareness session in collaboration with Pakistan Single Window for STZA licensees, focusing on system enhancements and updated compliance procedures. The two day engagement aimed to provide clarity on regulatory processes and equip stakeholders with practical knowledge to navigate recent operational updates introduced through the collaboration between STZA and PSW.

During the session, participants were guided through enhancements made to STZA systems, particularly the revised process for applying for exceptions. Officials offered step by step explanations to help licensees understand documentation requirements, submission workflows, and approval timelines. Representatives from Pakistan Single Window delivered a detailed briefing on Goods Declaration filing procedures, outlining best practices and compliance obligations. The GD filing session provided practical insights designed to support smoother import and export operations for companies operating within Special Technology Zones, while also improving overall operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

The two day program drew participation from a broad range of stakeholders across the technology and innovation ecosystem. On the first day, attendees included Pakistan Software Export Board, SPD, iENGINEERING, Winged Innovative Solutions Pvt Limited, Zarea, Higgs Computing, Rapidev, Softech Business Services Ltd, National Radio Telecommunication Corporation, CyMax Technologies, Harobanx Industries Pvt Ltd, and NUST STZ. The second day saw participation from Connectech Pvt Ltd, Stingray Technologies, Dynasys Networks, GWAplpha, Baykar Technologies, Latitude NX, Crypptech, Winged Innovative Solutions, and Harobanx Industries Pvt Ltd. The presence of established technology firms, exporters, and zone enterprises reflected the growing engagement within the STZA regulated ecosystem.

Through such collaborative engagements, STZA continues to focus on strengthening coordination with key regulatory bodies and facilitating a more transparent operating framework for its licensees. By enhancing awareness of system upgrades and compliance mechanisms in partnership with Pakistan Single Window, the authority is working to simplify procedures, reduce ambiguities, and support companies in maintaining regulatory alignment while scaling their technology driven operations in Pakistan.
