Premium Technologies Private Limited has achieved three internationally recognised ISO management system certifications, covering artificial intelligence management, information security, and quality standards. The company obtained ISO/IEC 42001:2023 for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for Information Security Management Systems, and ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems.

The certifications reflect the company’s commitment to responsible AI practices, information security, and quality excellence, aligning its operations with internationally recognised best practices while supporting the broader growth of Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. ISO/IEC 42001, the most recently introduced of the three standards, provides organisations with a structured framework for managing the risks associated with developing, deploying, and using AI systems, addressing considerations such as governance, ethics, transparency, and continuous risk assessment. The standard has quickly gained relevance as more companies integrate AI into products and services, with certification requiring organisations to maintain clear documentation of AI related decisions, the data used in AI systems, and regular internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

The ISO/IEC 27001 certification establishes a framework for an information security management system, helping organisations safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data through defined policies, risk assessments, and security controls. Meanwhile, ISO 9001 certification reflects an organisation’s adherence to internationally recognised quality management practices, covering areas such as process consistency, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across an organisation’s operations.

Achieving all three certifications together signals a broader commitment by Premium Technologies to formalise governance across multiple dimensions of its operations simultaneously, spanning emerging AI specific risks alongside more established information security and quality management practices. The achievement was highlighted by Pakistan IT Industry Association as part of its ongoing effort to showcase milestones reached by its member organisations across the country’s technology sector.

The certifications add to a broader pattern of Pakistani technology companies pursuing internationally recognised standards as they compete for both domestic and international clients, with information security and quality certifications increasingly viewed as a baseline expectation for companies handling sensitive client data or seeking work with international partners. As AI adoption continues to expand across industries in Pakistan, Premium Technologies’ certification under the newer ISO/IEC 42001 standard positions the company among a still relatively small group of local firms formally certified for AI governance, potentially strengthening its credibility with clients seeking assurance around responsible AI development and deployment practices.
