The Pakistan IT Industry Association has welcomed Kashoon Leeza to its Secretariat Team as Director, Policy and Strategic Initiatives, expanding the association’s core leadership as it continues its work supporting Pakistan’s technology sector. The appointment adds a dedicated policy focused role to PASHA’s secretariat structure, reflecting the association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its institutional capacity around industry advocacy and strategic planning.

In her new role, Kashoon Leeza will contribute to PASHA’s policy and strategic initiatives, supporting the association’s continued efforts to strengthen engagement and advance key priorities for Pakistan’s IT industry. The position places her within PASHA’s broader secretariat function, which has increasingly taken on responsibility for shaping the association’s public positions on technology policy matters, including recent work such as its analysis of the draft National Data Governance Policy 2026.

PASHA has described its secretariat team as expanding with this addition, positioning the hire as part of a broader effort to build out the association’s capacity to engage with government bodies, regulators and industry stakeholders on policy matters affecting the country’s technology sector. The Director, Policy and Strategic Initiatives role is expected to work alongside other secretariat members in coordinating the association’s advocacy work and representing member company interests in ongoing regulatory and policy discussions.

PASHA said it looks forward to Kashoon Leeza’s continued contributions and the impact she will bring to the organization, framing the appointment as part of its ongoing effort to strengthen the institutional resources it can bring to bear on behalf of Pakistan’s IT industry. The addition comes as PASHA continues to expand its role across policy advocacy, industry events and international representation for the country’s technology sector.
