Tamasha, Pakistan’s leading digital entertainment platform operated by Jazz, has achieved an unprecedented milestone by surpassing 25 million monthly active users during Asia Cup 2025, marking the highest ever audience for a local Pakistani streaming app. The record underscores both the platform’s growing influence in the country’s digital media landscape and the immense appetite for online streaming services. On September 21 alone, over 10 million unique users logged into Tamasha to watch the highly anticipated Pakistan–India clash, reflecting the platform’s ability to unite viewers nationwide for major live events.

Aamer Ejaz, President Digital Platforms at Jazz, described the milestone as a proud achievement for Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. “Crossing 25 million monthly active users is a proud moment not just for Tamasha, but for Pakistan’s digital ecosystem as a whole. This milestone validates the trust of our audiences and partners, and reinforces Tamasha’s role as a flag-bearer in expanding boundaries of digital viewership. From cricket to cinema, we continue building experiences that bring people together, all while creating value for our advertisers,” he said. His comments highlight the dual role Tamasha has taken on as both an entertainment destination for viewers and a powerful advertising platform for brands.

The app’s expanding reach has attracted Pakistan’s leading brands, which have chosen Tamasha as their preferred digital advertising partner. With its massive and engaged audience, the platform has delivered strong returns on investment for advertisers seeking to connect with millions of viewers nationwide. This growth has reinforced Tamasha’s position as one of the most effective channels in the digital media space. The Asia Cup 2025 also showcased Tamasha’s product innovation, with the platform introducing for the first time a choice between free streaming and a pocket-friendly Tamasha Pro package for an ad-free viewing experience. This dual offering allowed users to tailor their viewing according to their preferences, expanding Tamasha’s role as both a free and subscription-based service.

Since its launch, Tamasha has become Pakistan’s go-to destination for live sports and premium entertainment. It has streamed major global events including the ICC Champions Trophy, English Premier League, Wimbledon, and the Olympics. The platform is accessible on Android, iOS and Android TV, ensuring wide availability and ease of access for users across the country. Building on the success of Asia Cup 2025, Tamasha is now gearing up to cover the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 from September 30 to November 2, celebrating every match and highlighting the rise of women’s cricket as a defining force in sport. This latest milestone reflects Tamasha’s continued growth as a leading digital platform capable of serving both mass audiences and advertisers with a seamless viewing and engagement experience.
