Dubai is taking a giant leap forward in the field of AI with the launch of “One Million Prompters,” the world’s largest AI prompt engineering training initiative. This program builds upon Dubai’s recently unveiled Universal Blueprint for AI, which aims to accelerate the adoption of AI applications across various sectors.

Spearheaded by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), “One Million Prompters” has an ambitious goal: to upskill one million individuals in the art of AI prompt engineering over the next three years.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, emphasized the program’s significance:

“This global initiative… aims to prepare, develop and empower competencies with the skills needed to harness the potential of AI applications to advance innovation, progress and economic growth.”

He further highlighted the rapidly evolving technological landscape, stating, “Coding was formerly in demand, but today, prompt engineering has become one of the most promising skills.”

“One Million Prompters” aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to create effective prompts, essentially instructions that guide AI systems to generate desired outputs.

The program will offer accredited certifications upon completion, validating the expertise of graduates.  It will also include competitions and networking opportunities, fostering collaboration between trainees and AI experts.

This initiative positions Dubai as a global leader in AI education and empowers individuals to navigate the evolving landscape of AI technology.
