Mujeeb Qayyum, Chief Executive Officer of ZealSoft and Vroozi, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term. Qayyum brings more than thirty years of experience scaling IT operations, enterprise strategy and business processes across global markets, with a track record he describes as built on cross-cultural alignment and client growth. His affiliations include the American Business Forum, OPEN Lahore and Rotary International, and he has framed his candidacy around applying that operational background directly to PASHA’s own priorities for the coming term.
His manifesto opens with a vision centered on scaling Pakistan’s technology footprint globally while pushing for equitable business growth and market access that extends across startups, scaleups and larger enterprises alike, rather than concentrating gains among a narrow set of firms. On execution, Qayyum wants to turn competition among member companies into strategic collaboration, encouraging firms to share pipelines, pool expertise, and pursue opportunities together on the global stage instead of operating in isolation. He has paired this with a commitment to lead with what he calls relentless accountability, proposing that every initiative PASHA undertakes be tracked against hard metrics and clear delivery milestones rather than left open ended.

The remaining two points of his platform address government relations and internal operations. Qayyum wants PASHA to serve as the industry’s uncompromising voice in policy making, aligning directly with state leadership to soften regulatory friction and secure fiscal incentives that support the sector’s growth. On the administrative side, he has proposed transforming the PASHA secretariat into what he describes as an agile, service first operation capable of delivering immediate and tangible utility to every tier of the association’s membership, rather than functioning purely as a back office function.
Qayyum’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations.
