Arham Irfan, Group Chief Operating Officer of ArhamSoft, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term. Backed by ArhamSoft’s two decade presence in the industry and his own six years of hands-on leadership within the company, Irfan has framed his candidacy around bringing an execution driven perspective to PASHA, positioning himself as a younger voice within a committee traditionally led by more senior industry figures.

His manifesto opens with a commitment to bring a Gen Z perspective to the table, proposing to create meaningful pathways for younger professionals and young entrepreneurs to participate in, lead, and contribute fresh perspectives to PASHA’s work. On member services, he wants to enhance how the association serves its members through a unified digital platform that would handle membership management, events, real time updates, communication and collaboration in one place rather than through fragmented systems. His third point focuses on building a searchable directory of verified member companies, designed to create meaningful connections, deal flow and business opportunities across PASHA’s membership base.

The remaining two points of his platform address academic partnerships and workforce readiness. Irfan wants to build stronger partnerships between technology companies and universities to promote applied research, internships, industry exposure and better employment outcomes for graduates entering the sector. His final commitment centers on helping the existing IT workforce adopt and upskill in artificial intelligence, including agentic AI, so that member companies remain prepared for a rapidly changing technology landscape rather than falling behind it.

Irfan’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations. The complete final voters list for the 2026 elections is available on the PASHA final voter list, and more information about Irfan’s professional background can be found on his LinkedIn profile.
