FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus hosted Dr. Naveed Iftikhar, CEO and Founder of inaraX and Co-Founder of atomcamp, as part of a PPIT seminar organized by CS-D, focusing on how professional development and career growth are evolving in an AI driven environment. The session centered on the idea that adapting to AI involves more than simply adopting new tools, extending instead to a broader rethinking of how careers, teams, and organizations grow as intelligence itself becomes increasingly automated.
Dr. Iftikhar brought close to two decades of experience advising governments and organizations on technology adoption to the session, along with a background that includes training more than 6,000 individuals and over 100 companies across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Malaysia specifically in AI related skills and applications. Drawing on this extensive background, he shared practical lessons from his own professional and entrepreneurial journey, offering students and faculty members a firsthand perspective on how technology adoption unfolds at both an individual and organizational level across different international markets.
The session explored what is genuinely required to build a career and a company within an AI driven world, touching on themes such as staying relevant amid constant technological change and the specific mindset shifts entrepreneurs need to make when attempting to scale their operations across international borders. This dual focus on individual career development and broader entrepreneurial scaling gave the seminar relevance to a range of attendees, from students considering their own career trajectories to those interested in eventually building their own technology ventures.
