Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading telecommunications provider, has announced a strategic partnership with PAGE (Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education), an esteemed organization dedicated to promoting gender equity in education, employment, rights, and leadership. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) solidifies the commitment of both organizations to collaborate and empower girls’ education in Pakistan.

Representatives from Zong 4G and PAGE attended the MoU signing ceremony on June 21st, demonstrating their shared goal of transforming the environment of girls’ education in the country. The partnership will encompass various activities, including workshops conducted by trainers, provision of internet devices in areas with limited access, career training initiatives, rehabilitation of flood-affected schools, and workshops in women’s vocational centers.

Zong 4G is fully dedicated to supporting PAGE in its mission to bridge the gender gap in education. The official spokesperson for Zong 4G expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the company’s belief that education is the foundation of progress. By collaborating with PAGE, Zong 4G aims to empower girls and ensure equal access to quality education.

This partnership builds upon the previous successful collaborations between Zong 4G and PAGE, such as the establishment of an independent Digital Lab in Pir Chinasi, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The lab, located in a remote area with limited infrastructure, primarily serves an all-girls school and acts as a vocational center for women in the region. Since its establishment in December 2022, the digital lab has facilitated educational opportunities for hundreds of girls and women in Pir Chinasi.

The strategic partnership between Zong 4G and PAGE reflects a shared vision and commitment to creating a brighter future for girls’ education in Pakistan. Through the utilization of their combined resources, expertise, and determination, both organizations aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of girls and young women across the country.
