Quaid Technologies, a member company of the Pakistan Software Export Board affiliated Pakistan IT Industry Association, has expanded its operations across Europe and Southeast Asia, marking what the company describes as a significant milestone in its international growth. The expansion was highlighted by the Pakistan IT Industry Association as part of its recurring member achievement feature, which showcases the international progress of locally registered technology companies.

As part of the expansion, Quaid Technologies has established new operations in Thailand, allowing the company to serve the Southeast Asian market directly while strengthening its presence across several other international regions. The company already maintains a footprint across multiple European markets, including Copenhagen and Brussels, alongside its Southeast Asian base in Bangkok, positioning it as one of the leading Pakistani IT firms with an active multi continent presence. Officials at the company described the move as part of a broader strategy to deliver global information technology services while showcasing Pakistani technology expertise in markets outside the country.

The expansion coincided with the announcement that Tobias M. Pjedsted is joining Quaid Technologies as Executive Director and Partner. Pjedsted brings close to three decades of experience building internationally trusted businesses and has led one of Southeast Asia’s more prominent community organisations, with professional roots spanning multiple European markets. Atta Ur Rehman, Founder and Managing Director of Quaid Technologies, said the incoming executive’s reach spans three continents and that his expertise is expected to shape the company’s growth for years to come, describing the appointment as part of a broader vision to build the firm into a globally trusted operation rather than one confined to a single seat of operations.

The Pakistan IT Industry Association framed the announcement as part of its ongoing effort to spotlight the achievements of its member companies as they pursue growth in international markets, encouraging other member firms to share similar milestones for future recognition. The expansion by Quaid Technologies reflects a broader trend among Pakistani IT companies seeking to establish direct operational footholds in overseas markets rather than relying solely on remote service delivery, a shift that industry stakeholders have increasingly pointed to as a marker of the sector’s growing international competitiveness. Further details on the company’s plans following the Thailand launch were not disclosed.
