PASHA Startup and Entrepreneurship Committee Chair and CEC Member Usman Akbar met with Ignite National Technology Fund Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Bilal Abbasi to discuss progress on the PASHA Startup Hub and explore opportunities for future collaboration between the two organizations. The meeting brought together representatives from both sides to review the current state of the hub and identify potential areas for continued cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Ignite representatives including Nayab Babar from the Pakistan Startup Fund and Manager Muhammad Umer Akram, alongside PASHA representatives Noman Hassan, a member of the Startup and Entrepreneurship Committee, PASHA member Farhan Saleem, and Manager of Special Initiatives Zain Tariq. The composition of attendees reflected both organizations’ focus on startup support and entrepreneurship development within Pakistan’s broader technology ecosystem.

Discussions during the meeting centered on advancing the PASHA Startup Hub and identifying collaborative initiatives that could further support Pakistan’s startup ecosystem through continued engagement between the two organizations. The session builds on an existing working relationship between PASHA and Ignite, both of which have played active roles in supporting startups and technology entrepreneurship across the country in recent years.

The continued collaboration between PASHA and Ignite reflects a broader pattern of coordination between Pakistan’s technology industry associations and government backed funding bodies, aimed at strengthening the infrastructure and support systems available to startups and early stage technology companies. As the PASHA Startup Hub continues to develop, ongoing engagement between these organizations is expected to play a role in shaping how future initiatives are structured to support entrepreneurship and innovation within Pakistan’s growing technology sector.
